Athreon will send you emails to respond to your requests. We may also send emails to advertise events, webinars, or new solutions that we think may be of interest to you. Our systems may also auto-generate emails depending on how clients use them. For example, if you send us an audio file for transcription, our system may send you an email to alert you when the document is ready.
Athreon collects information from you directly, for example, when you supply your details to us to activate your Athreon account. Likewise, we indirectly collect data from you, for example, when devices you use to connect to our services automatically generate data.
We notify account owners of breaches by email or by phone, without undue delay, in the event of a security breach.

No, we do not sell client data to anyone.
We process your data (all the information you store and process through our system) to create and maintain your account, communicate with you, deliver the services you have requested of us, protect you against fraud, and provide you client support. We also process your data based on the actions you take in the various Athreon applications you use. For instance, if you designate a transcript for faxing, our system will query the transcript we have created for you and the recipient contact details you have stored in our database to deliver the transcript to your designated recipient.
Yes, we do use subcontractors and vendors to help deliver our services to clients. We carefully vet subcontractors and vendors before engaging with them to assist us in providing solutions to clients.

Clients may make requests to delete their data stored in our systems by contacting it@athreon.com. We will make arrangements to purge the data from our servers.
Protecting client privacy is of the highest importance to Athreon. We scrutinize all requests for access to client data, regardless from where they come. Unless prohibited by law, we consult with clients before disclosing their data so the client can seek protection from making the disclosure. Athreon will object to unlawful or inappropriate requests to client data by third parties.
